A love story-but he is an adult, and she is a child
Cleveland-Direct from an extended offBroadway run, lesbian playwright Paula Vogel's 1998 Pulitzer Prize winning play How I Learned to Drive will have its Cleveland premiere at Dobama Theatre September 18 to October 11.
Set in rural southern Maryland, the one-act play tells the story of a complex incestuous relationship between a young girl, Li'l Bit (Laura Perrotta), and an older man, her Uncle Peck (David Hoffman). But the reality is, he is an adult, and she is a child. The play will no doubt be controversial, since, as director Sonya Robbins
